I managed to make it so Rabga can turn around now. It's incredibly buggy and barely works honestly but it is fine for now. It works by detecting when Rabga's velocity on the X axis changes and if it more than 0, he'll look to the left and if is less than 0, he'll look to the right. This poses problems when it equals 0 with odd flickering but i've got a thing to fix that for now where he will look to the left when his velocity on the x axis is 0, i'd prefer if he kept his previous direction and have a default of left, but i'll deal with that later...

Kaiku can now crouch by holding the "S" or "down" button. I managed to edit Kaiku's collider so when Kaiku crouches, the current collider is deleted and replaced with a new one, which is roughly 33% shorter. This is currently fairly buggy and it corresponds to your inputs really slowly with some painful input lag, but it works for now. I also made it so you can't attack while crouching as to reduce exploits and reduce work load on me ;)
I finally did the infamous task of making it so Kaiku can turn around! This was a task I suspected would take me days of work but instead took me roughly 3 hours. All I had to do was make it so the player flips direction on the X axis when the player presses an "A, "D, "left" or "right" button. However, I also had to change the shadow attack instatiate so it spawns in the direction the player is looking as apposed to always to the right. |
